Overview

A website is only one component of your ecommerce system

Having a good, intuitive website is important, but equally important is having the support tools to allow you to easily manage and control it and to integrate it to other software components of your business.

Website

Full featured, modern website(s) custom designed both in terms of visual design and functionality to suit how your business operates.

The system can support multiple websites from a single administration. You may, for example, have a glossy website for domestic customers but a seperate ‘business to business’ looking website for industrial or trade customers. Product ranges, for example, cosmetics and jewellery, could be split to two separate websites but driven by a single administration.

Administration System

Do you have a reasonably good grasp of HTML? No – why should you?! The idea of the website administration is to allow you to very easily maintain content, such as categories, images, products, information pages etc., without the need for any technical knowledge.

Back-Office System

A Back-Office system can run in your office, securely connected to the online database. This enables live data to be extracted from the website, such as sales and customer information, or for data to be live updated, such as revised product or price information.

This allows the website to be integrated with your other office systems such as accounts package, MIS, stock control, supplier price-lists, allowing tedious tasks to be automated saving you time to spend on other business activities.

The back-office can also produce any required reports, which can be produced as PDF for distribution, or queries which can produce any required data in any required format, for example, XML or spreadsheet.
